About Katelyn
Welcome! I’m Katelyn and I’m a dedicated creative and art administrator. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Art and Art History and a Master’s Degree in Arts Administration with a graduate certificate in Nonprofit Management. I enjoy supporting, professionally and charitably, local nonprofit organizations and serve as a Director for a number of Metro Detroit area organizations.
I enjoy using my artistic background and experience with nonprofit operations to help local, grassroot nonprofits grow. Organizations working to improve the arts, environmental sustainability, and the city of Detroit are of particular interest to me.
I’ve worked with organizations such as the Citizens Research Council of Michigan, the Detroit Repertory Theatre, the Historic Boston-Edison Association, the Ferndale Community Concert Band, and more.
When I’m not working, I like to photograph Urban Landscapes and Public Art in Detroit. A current artistic exploration can be read and viewed on my page “An Image of Sustainability”. I always have my hands on some creative project whether it be a home improvement project, sewing, knitting, or whatever else I put my mind to.
Thanks for visiting my page! Always feel free to contact me to talk further.
